Our team has extensive experience in the development and management of affordable housing projects. We have successfully integrated affordability with design quality in numerous projects, ensuring compliance with HUD, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Market Tax Credits, HOME Funds, ARPA, and several others. The team is no stranger to the delicate balance of regulatory requirements and agency and the alignment with our respective project. Our approach focuses on Adaptive Reuse and Historic Tax Credits, allowing us to repurpose existing structures into affordable housing units while maintaining high standards of design and functionality as well as New Construction projects with the same level of attention to detail.
Our team has played a significant role in the development, co-development, and consulting on the construction or renovation of over 1,000 housing units nationwide. We have successfully executed projects in various states, including Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Florida, and Colorado. Our dedication to affordable housing is evident through our active participation in numerous non-profit organizations and our consistent delivery of high-quality, affordable housing solutions that adhere to regulatory standards.

Matt Dougherty
Co-Founder
Matt began his career in audit accounting before transitioning to become a State Farm Insurance agent in 2002. With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, he has been deeply involved in historic redevelopment and housing throughout his career. His background in accounting has given him a strong foundation in leveraging tax credits to maximize opportunities in the real estate market.
Matt earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and later obtained an MBA from Creighton University.

Ryan Durant
Co-Founder
With over 20 years in the housing industry, Ryan has led or consulted on the development and renovation of 1,000+ housing units nationwide, primarily in Nebraska but also in Iowa, Missouri, Florida, and Colorado.
Committed to community service, he has served as Director for Notre Dame Housing and the Metro Area Continuum of Care for the Homeless. He currently chairs the Nebraska Commission on Housing and Homelessness.
Ryan holds a Nebraska Real Estate License and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Will Major
VP of Finance & Development
Will began his career in the insurance industry, specializing in investment real estate and multi-family risk. His deep understanding of asset protection and financial strategy made him a trusted advisor in the field. Building on this expertise, he transitioned into commercial real estate development, where he applies his risk assessment and financial acumen to create impactful projects.
Will earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where he was recognized with the Outstanding Undergraduate Award in the Finance and Banking program—an honor reflecting his dedication and excellence in the field.

Fabian Batista
VP of Development
Fabian began his real estate career in Los Angeles before relocating to Omaha, where he works as an associate developer at RMDX Development. There, he has led LIHTC project prospecting and funding applications in the affordable housing sector, and currently manages both business and residential properties.
He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and human development from Life Pacific University and certificates in Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate Development from Cornell University.
