The Barker Building is an 8-story, 64,000 square foot structure located at 306 S 15th Street in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. The Barker was constructed in 1929 by Joseph Barker’s two sons, who wanted to honor their father’s lifetime work in Omaha as a minister. The Barker is one of Omaha’s richest architectural buildings and was close to being raised in 2009 and 2010. In 2012, Shamrock Development contracted us to assist in the development of this $8.2M project. It was renovated to house 50 luxury apartment units, from studios to two-bedroom apartments. It was a catalyst in the development of other multi-family projects downtown.
