The Historic Florentine Apartments, Omaha, NE

Multi-Family

The Florentine Apartment Building is a three-story, 24,000 square foot structure located at 907 S 25th Street in the Reddick Historic District of Omaha, Nebraska. The Florentine was constructed in 1911 by V.P. Chiado, an Italian immigrant who began as a tailor but later became a major local figure in the Italian community, investing and constructing several buildings and promoting the immigration of Italians to Omaha. The Florentine is one of Omaha’s richest architectural buildings remaining.  It will be renovated to house 30 apartment units, from studios to two-bedroom apartments.  Most of the units will provide tenants with a patio or a deck. The building offers the tenants plenty of natural light with a multitude of windows.  It has reinvigorated a nearly forgotten neighborhood.
