The Postal Annex, Omaha, NE
Commercial
The Postal Annex Building or the Rail and Commerce is a 4 story, 76,472 square foot structure located at 1002 Mason Street, in Omaha, Nebraska. The building served as a United States Post Office mail sorting facility for many years but became vacant and was threatened to be demolished in 2014. In 2015, this $28M rehabilitation converted the former Post Office Warehouse/Distribution Center into a thriving office and retail center now known as the Rail and Commerce Development/Village. The lower level is a 45 to 50 collaborative workspace environment. The main floor is occupied by Boyd Jones, and the upper floors are occupied by Warren Distributions. The building offers breathtaking views from each level.
